The Holy Kingdom is an extremely powerful monarchy, yet its had the same monarch for the past 1000 years. That monarch is The Adversary, who has only remained king due to his immortality. The people have grown to hate The Adversary. Protests and threats of rebellion have become a daily occurrence. Taxes are through the roof, and the crime rate is astronomical. The population has also gotten out of hand, The Capital itself housing over eight hundred thousand people. All this while The Adversary stays at the top of his red and blue tower. The Adversary has conceived thousands of heirs over the years, him outliving all of them.
