Upon the words of TalOS Vadar did as he was told. A year went by and TalOS sadly did not see the results he could have hoped for.
While Vadar was successful in bringing the brothers back to the table they did not seem to accept him as arbitrator. Leman was annoyed with the ordeal and the Lion seemed to care little for the issues ever since the two brothers came to blows with one another.
That however was before another grand push was made which forced cooperation.
Before this grand push the Federation’s forces had been staying out of the meat grinder and waiting out for some sort of unified front. It was when a rumor started circulating from the refugees that the Federation took upon themselves to process that Vadar realized the greatest attack was coming.
How he knew was simple. There had been sightings of Ferrus Manus.
What happened during that battle TalOS did not know. The Rangdan seemed to have somehow managed a jamming effect upon this front which caused a majority of information to be lost. As TalOS felt the stars it seemed that the effect might be reality altering as well, which caused whatever was happening there to be rended. Of the reports that came in were of completely different events all happening at the same place at the same time.
Thus TalOS knew that their enemy was making his move, and the first step was setting up his own reality and will upon the battlefield.
It was due to this confusion though that victory was gained. The Dark Angels and the Space Wolves were forced to work together in a common front which brought the battle ready Federal Forces into the battle. They pushed their foe back, but at the cost of many.
It was then that the news finally came. The Emperor was coming from Terra to the Northern Front. Most likely to deal with whatever abomination Ferrus Manus had become.
It was during this time that something weird happened.
