Finally, everyone was able to carry on past the first of the four Cadre. Deeper into Shengesia they went. By now, on their long road, they reached the populated lands of inner Shengesia, closing in upon the Heavenly Capital. This ring of fertile lands around the Imperial center was densely packed with communes to house the Emperor's people. As they edged closer to their goal, danger would only increase from there.
They had to wrap back around to the Capital. Couldn't afford to miss the Village of Cats on the way there.
