>A and Kor to Observe Future while he fiddles with the Oasis.
"So, again, I told Cloud he should suck it up, I melted and I was just fine!" Kor rambles at Employee A as they approach Future's containment cell. "Yeah, maybe complain after we're done?"
The two enter through the containment cell airlock.
The knight looks up from the ground. It lifts up its visor to flash a rictus grin.
ANOMALY: Welcome, children of man. What do you seek today?
Kor and Employee A glance at each other before placing the cloak in front of the knight.
The knight lowers its visor once it recognizes the cloak.
ANOMALY: Ah. I would not expect to talk to the child so soon. So be it.
The knight grabs onto the cloak and begins to put it on.
With some help from the observers, the knight manages to fit over its armor.
The cloak is absorbed into the knight's armor, disappearing completely.
The formerly grey steel is now a dull orange sandstone
KOR: Shit. That better not be permanent.
A: Interesting...
Employee A starts scribbling his notes down, followed by Kor.
Fly, fly, fly away. Let your heavy past fade away, Knight.
I will fly, like an angel. But I must remember my sins, as to not repeat my mistakes.
The knight sprouts out angelic wings, bursting out from its back.
ANOMALY: Oh, sweet child. Leaving behind a fragment of yourself is always rough.
ANOMALY: But we shall be protected. Steel, stone, and bone...
The knight raises his hand, palm out.
ANOMALY: Lord above, Father of every realm, Mother of every creature. Forgive me for foolishly using this new power.
A torrent of bleached white sand blasts out of the knight's palm.
It flies over the two employee's heads, blasting against the wall behind them.
Employee A and Kor turn around to see a solid chunk of the steel wall get worn away to nearly nothing.
In a blink of the eye, the Knight has flown over to the part of the cell it just destroyed.
The two employees back away from the Knight.
It stares at the damaged part of the wall with an intense fixation.
Nothing should bind you to this world. Aren't you tired of your duty? Of your obligations?
Break free of those chains and fly, fly, fly. Carefree as a bird.
A: Future. I don't know what the PARADIGM is doing to you but please. Remember what your name stands for.
A: Don't do anything too rash.
The knight turns to look towards Employee A. Just as quickly, it returns to the center of the room.
The cloak has fallen to the ground. The knight's armor returning to the usual grey steel color.
ANOMALY: ...My mind was not what it was. The careless whims of the child are not...
ANOMALY: ...
The knight falls silent before planting his sword into the ground. An anchor binding him to the cell.
The two employees collect the cloak and exit the containment cell airlock.
ANOMALY: She didn't want anyone to hurt her anymore. I...my thoughts need time to recover.
