The Audience Chamber of the Fabricator General was as always the most exquisite that it could always be. The building was set upon a high point that looked down upon the entire forge that sat below him. It was a show of strength and dominion, a symbol that he was indeed the lord of the Mechanicum.
Looking around the room, there were a few bodyguards about it. Astartes and Skitarii held the same chamber thanks to those that were present within them. Neither side considered the other any real threat from what TalOS could see. They after all were allies for several decades at this moment and that deals were struck before their very eyes for those present. If bad blood were to form, both sides would be surprised to see it occur.
With TalOS and his Steel Wardens walking into the hall it was guaranteed that there were going to be no true bodied humans within the chamber. Each being that was present had in some way an augmentation to the point that men of the past would not recognize them as true humans.
Such a muse TalOS had as they turned a corner and finally reached the Primarch of the Imperial Fists.
He was a large man, as with every brother TalOS had met before him. In those terms TalOS was roughly equal to his size thanks to the augmentations, which is where the physical resemblances between TalOS and his brother ended.
Dorn’s face was stern, solid and powerful, looking to have been crafted with an artisan’s chisel. Arguably that might have been the case. What helped was the thick white hair that cropped his head that looked to be permanently kept firm as care was put into maintaining it. His muscles were defined and built with evidence of exercise upon them if TalOS’s Genetor eyes were not lying to him.
He wore a tunic and cloak that ran across the tunic. This tunic was held together with a simple pendant that held his Legion’s iconography upon it. If TalOS took in this sight, he would assume that the Primarch had accepted whatever roles that his previous Legion held.
As TalOS’s eyes wandered he saw the small diminished form of Lucius’s Previous Fabricator General. The old man and TalOS quickly shared a burst of binaric chatter as TalOS needed to give his respect to the Ancient before anything else. If the others noticed TalOS’s exchange with his predecessor, none in the room made a point in showing it.
With his two subjects taken in TalOS approached them all with a confidence within his stride.
