Acer ruffles your hair softly. “Okay kiddo. We’re headed back home, but stay in touch.”
“Will do!” You look to Jaki’s group. Sala’s apologizing to Pantea before she and Yamcha leave, with Yamcha letting her know there’s no hard feelings, he was in the same boat. Still, looks like they’re parting on good terms. You walk to Hado first, commenting, “Thanks for the help back there. Don’t know what might’ve happened if I didn’t get that boost.”
“I’m just glad it worked, if I’m being honest. That amount of power you were going through was… intense. Don’t know how long I could have held out if I were trying that, but it wouldn’t be near enough to do what you did.” he acknowledges.
“Eh, I’ve got a lot under my belt. Still gonna need to sleep it off though.” you comment with a yawn. “What’re your next plans?”
“We will stay here for the time being.” Jaki states. “Maybe… hrmn.”
“What’s up?” Sala asks.
Jaki rubs his chin. “I believe there could be ways to stabilize those shards of spacetime, if they’re used against us again, or at the very least give a more notable ‘tell’ of where one ended up that can be tracked. But the materials needed for them are scarce, have been since the time of Ancient Nemuria.”
…There’s an odd familiarity in how he refers to Ancient Nemuria. But you’ll focus on the more important part. “Hey, if you think it’s worth it, let us know. We might be able to help you find the materials you need.”
“I’ll do some research into it first.” he says plainly. “If this is worth pursuing, I shall indeed let you all know.”
“Thanks. Hope you all manage to rest well.” You give them a thumb’s up and start to walk towards Maple, Peppa, and Gohan. But as you do, you decide to check on a few more folks. Cheelai and the boys first. They seem to be doing well, they did get worried once they heard about what all was going down over there, but nothing happened to them, at the very least. Good. Next up, Tapion and Minotia. The two were apparently helping out South Kai on errand from the Supreme Kai, and wanted to help out, but weren’t able to get there in time. Tapion especially wishes he could have done more, but you let him and his brother know you’re just glad they’re safe… and that no matter what, you will get Shin back.
