TalOS fell back into his chair as he took the moment to think. Normal chairs might have screamed under the weight of his armor but none came from the one that TalOS had purpose built for himself. A luxury for one who expected to always have some form of visitors.
He pondered for a moment before he finally spoke, +We will need to first consider things in the short term. From my understanding you Astartes feel the need to express violence in any way correct?+
+You are correct, Father.+ Answered the Astartes as he gave a solemn nod.
+Then we shall take you to what is the most violent of our platforms. From hence onwards the 2nd Legion’s Astartes shall be trained and attend the gunnery decks in effect tomorrow.+
TalOS watched as the jaw of his son dropped and his brows furrowed, +You wish for us to commit ourselves to the duty of serfs?+
+Is there an issue with being tasked with such?+ TalOS dared to ask his son as he gave the calm hum of a mechanical coil.
+It is… unexpected.+ The Astartes said as he placed his free hand over his heart, +None will go against your words though. You are our Primarch.+
TalOS gave a subtle nod as before he asked, +Then it is good, but I do not wish to lead a legion of servitors who take my every word with no issue. So I ask, what makes my decision so odd that you repulse at its declaration?+
The Astartes fell silent as he began placing words together that he hoped led to TalOS’s satisfaction. TalOS would have accepted the man saying that he did not know. But he was their Primarch, deflecting the answer was likely commiting a sin against their genome.
That thought led TalOS to ponder for a moment but such ponders were locked within a Machine Spirit as the Astartes spoke.
“It is… because we are warriors.” The Astartes said without thinking to activate his vox caster.
