The nurse eagerly notes down every little detail of your story. Once you're done rambling, he gives you his two cents.
"You got lucky there. ZENITH does a lot of good for ARC, and, heck, we use their supplies a lot. They tend to offer...bunk products to researchers, though."
"What do you mean?"
"Ah, they mix a whole buncha stuff together and hope something works out. That's why I'm shocked you even used that stuff on yourself."
"Ah, fair. I did have this one idea floating in my head." You click your tongue, trying to find the best way to word it. "Do you think I could sell the refined stuff to guards?"
"Absolutely. You know, I got some advice for you." The nurse pauses for a moment so he can wrap apply some ointment to your bruises. "You only got a few vials left, right?"
"Mmh hmm."
"If you want to stretch out the serum, dilute it with some water and apply it to some bandage wrap. It'll probably get into your system either way if you got a bleeding wound."
"It'll probably make the serum weaker but you could get a LOT more product to sell. Just some advice, between the two of us."
Duly noted. You nod along, making sure to keep that in mind once you start messing around with it. He wraps a fresh layer of gauze around your torso and some around your nose, finishing up your treatment. You feel...almost new, really. Some sleep will probably help you shake off everything.

"Annd that should be it, sir."
You quickly put your shirt back on. "Alright. One more thing I want you to check." You hold your arm out, showing the flower growing out of your wrist. The vine hidden inside your arm slowly reveals itself, poking out of your palm. The nurse's face turns dour as he stares at your plant friends.
"It doesn't hurt." You clarify as if that makes it any less weird. "I just need you to make sure it's not messing with me too much."
"Alright, we can certainly check, sir." The nurse leaves for a moment so he can get some equipment to check your vitals with. He returns with a penlight, a stethoscope and a blood pressure cuff. "We'll do the best with what we have available, sir."
You offer an understanding nod. Time to do a quick check up, you suppose.
It's about as routine and boring as you could expect any given checkupto be. Your heartbeat is listened to, your blood pressure's analyzed and you had to stare at a blinding light a few too many times for comfort. Your vine squirms and writhes as the doctor puts pressure on your arm with the cuff.
The nurse hums as he reads your results. "Nothing's out of the ordinary, sir. Your blood pressure's slightly elevated, but I'd imagine that's stress more than anything. Heartbeat's normal, your eyes are just fine..."
The nurse accidentally shines the penlight on the arm where your two plant buddies are growing out of. He stops for a moment, checking your arm a few times just to be sure.
He raises your hand to your face before shining the penlight again.
