With a roar Fulgrim sliced apart the bulkhead door that was made of adamantine. Which was the power and fury of the Fallen Primarch empowered by the energies of Chaos. He was a Daemon Prince and there was nothing less than that.
Acting quickly the Omnissiah summoned his Omnissian Axe to his hand. His full ability to control Particep Semper relegated as he placed the axe between himself and the incoming daggers of Fulgrim. So many attacks were coming that the Master of Machines needed to focus completely upon his defense just so that he would not be slaughtered into smaller pieces of necrodermis.
As he defended he could see it on the outside. He paid witness to the final strike that would have killed Fulgrim missing by a hair’s breath as the Chaos Gods once again ruined his aim. It was enough to finish the ruination of the Titan, but it was not enough to kill the teleportation that resulted in the Primarch’s disappearance.
Lorgar had escaped from Terra, but he will not return.
The Omnissiah leaped from the Throne Mechanicum now. The Omnissiah Axe flies to receive three simultaneous attacks from Fulgrim. He could not help but admire his brother for damnation had given the Primarch a body so well produced that not a single muscle rippled against the parries that the Omnissiah had delivered to him.
In an instant a fourth attack came towards the chest of the Omnissiah. In that same instant the Omnissiah caused time around his form to slow just that little bit so that he could fully witness just what it was that he was fighting. To witness and move against it with a parry that was coming. He noted though that the strike did not seem slow. Fulgrim had become like light, that it was barely relative between slowing it down by half or a quarter.
It was enough though. Enough for the Omnissiah to parry the strike. A clang sounded as he did so and devilish glee appeared on his brother’s face.
“Come on brother, you just going to keep defending like that!?”
“No!” The Omnissiah cried out as defense turrets quickly became animated. Fulgrim quickly had two of his hands moving in the direction of those turrets, swiping at the air to intercept the lasers with hardened warp-brass blades that he was wielding.
The Omnissiah tried to get in an attack but a loud clang answered his attack demonstrating that his axe was parried.
