“Hello there! Who do I have the pleasure of speaking with?” Lady Steen sounds as sociable as ever!
“It’s me, Johnny! How is it going?” You start nonchalantly.
“Ah, the once called <span class="mu-i">Phil Noon!</span> What a pleasure to hear from you.” Lady Steen cheerfully retorts. “Do you want to arrange a business meeting? Your services aren’t required just yet. But I feel a fruitful exchange between us.”
“You can say that again. There are more pressing matters.” You nod to nothing. “Before we continue, say hi to Honey Bunny! She’s also on this call!”
“Hey there, Lady Millions! Hehe! It’s been a while!” Aurora waves at the phone despite no camera being on.
“Oh… Ms. Honey Bunny… Aurora, was it? Glad to hear from you as well...” Lady Steen took note of every name. Hard to keep the codenames going outside of the missions. “Can’t say I’m used to having another party sprung out of thin air at the negotiation table.”
“Nah, chill, that ain’t my best suit. I wanted to hear about ya.” Aurora cheerfully says. “Like you look super interesting with the pyramid head and all.” Honey Bunny recalls Spooky’s nickname for Lady Steen.
“Pyramid head? What a peculiar way to refer to my Ceremony Hat! Well then! I’ve seen your <span class="mu-i">friendliness</span> at work, this isn’t out of the ordinary. Just don’t get too close to Mr. Ando while I’m listening.” Even if Lady Steen has her qualms, she’s willing to accept having Rora around. “What’s the reason for your call, my business buddies?”
“I wanna know if you have some information about the Youhao Clan. Something big is upon us, and I think it’d benefit both of us if we exchange some intel.” You say. “Besides, I’d like to warn you about the upcoming danger even if we get nowhere.”
“Nowhere? The best time to cooperate is when our interests align, wouldn’t you say? A fruitful exchange is upon us.” Lady Steen is open minded. “I have resources to bargain with. One of my information brokers is a former member of that organization.”
