Quoted By:
Wilhelm watched as two men came around the corner of the building. One was wizened and shriveled with age, with a shaggy white beard. In one hand he held a staff of purest white.
The other man was tall, with a missing eye, and Wilhelm saw with surprise that he wore the crest of the House of the Wolf. The man with the missing eye clutched a handful of wildflowers. The pair walked slowly, and Wilhelm saw that the maimed man walked with a limp. "I picked these to give to Fiamette," said the man. "Do you think she will like them?"
The old man looked at the flowers and nodded. "I think she will like them very much," said the old man. "It was kind of you to pick them, Ulfred."
