>>5400704>Tell Erika to hide in the buildings (Red)>Just hold position for now. “Erika,” you begin.
“Yes, Fritz?”
“Park yourself between the buildings and keep us informed,” you order.
“Aw what? That’s so boring though!” Erika complains. “Let me at em! I can take them!”
“Absolutely not,” you reply. “Stay where you are and keep an eye out - there might not even be any tanks in that dustcloud.”
“I’m sure there’s at least like 2,” she replies. “Maybe moving around really fast.”
“Watch and report,” you repeat. Erika groans, but you know her well enough to say that she’s probably not going to go against your orders. Hopefully.
“Flag group, all tanks halt,” you order. It takes a moment for the various tanks to come to a full stop but with a screech of metal, soon all the tanks in your group are stationary.
“Why are we stopping here?” Azusa asks. “We’re pretty open from the north. The forest covers our south decently though.
“Erika’s spotted something ahead,” you reply. “Don’t want to stumble into whatever it is.”
“And I suppose it’s unlikely their tanks are this far east yet,” Azusa muses. “I still don’t like being out like this.”
“Good thing you have several feet of armour in the form of Leopon then, right?” You ask, getting an indignant squawk from the automotive club.
You sit there for a few minutes, waiting for Erika to move into position then get back to you.
“Dust clouds have split and are getting smaller,” she reports. “Whatever was inside it probably split up and might be on the concrete by now.”
“Are they still heading our way?” You ask.
“Maybe,” she shrugs.
