>Thoroughly fill her in and ask for any hint she can give you about your sister
"I am still considering your offer," you tell her. "But I need time to think it through."
Fiona nods. She looks thoughtful as she rests her chin on her hand.
"In the meantime," you continue, "there is something I am wondering if you might be able to help me with."
"Of course," she says.
You spend a large chunk of time filling her in on the details of your journey. Of your background, of Barovia, of what you encountered when you first arrived here. You describe your experience meeting Ismark, the trouble you encountered on the road, and the reason you had Ireena with you.
"I came to Barovia with a mission," you continue. "Again, my sister is missing. But there's more to it - all the information I've gathered suggests that she may be here, in Barovia. That is the reason I came here to begin with."
She pauses for a moment before saying, "I heard."
You are surprised. "How did you hear that? Ireena is the only one I told."
"Vasili von Holtz mentioned you had a sister early this morning," she explains. "This was before you broke out of prison."
Ireena must have told Vasili. It wasn't exactly a secret, but you tend to keep your cards close to your chest.
"He is a long-time patron of my house, you see, so he keeps me filled in," she continues. "When he said he was taking the Barovia burgomaster's sister - the woman you were imprisoned with - to a safe place to hide from Lord Strahd, the topic of you came up. He mentioned that you had a sister who was in trouble, but didn't go into specifics."
"Well, that's very helpful," you say. "Can you... help me locate her? If you have so much information, surely you would have some way of tracking her down. Maybe she's been in Vallaki before?"
Fiona shakes her head. "Unfortunately, I cannot be of assistance there. But I do know somebody who might be able to help."
You frown. "Who is that?" you ask.
"Lord Strahd von Zarovich."
You are stunned. "Strahd von Zarovich?" You stand up from your bed, your face growing red. "You can't be serious."
Fiona gestures to your bed. "Please sit down," she says. "I know you may be hesitant, but if there's one person in Barovia who would be able to tell you the whereabouts of an adventurer from beyond the fog, it'd be the Lord of Ravenloft himself."
