Welp, it's about time you do your daily checkup on LOST SINCE 199X. You'll bring Ashton along for that. That thing could probably pop your head like a pimple if it felt like it, so having someone that'd keep it calm is paramount to, uh, making sure you keep your head.
You like your head. It is quite important to you after all. Mmh hmm. No head, that means you're dead. The redhead would dread-
Vincent?
You notice that the Man is staring at you. "Oh, right. Uhm." Okay, that knocked you off balance, but you need to stay PROFESSIONAL! "We already worked on IN LIMBO and NOWHERE'S SOMMELIER. That leaves 199X."
"is it, uh, going to mess with my brain again?" Ashton's gaze shifts between you and IN LIMBO'S cell.
"Nope, it might crush your head if it gets too angry." You speak as if you were talking about the weather. "You're going to be my security detail."
"hoo! okay!" Ashton cracks a smile. "yeah, yeah, that's a lot easier for me to handle. anything you need to do before we check on it?"
"Ah, I'm going to look up anything I can about 199X. You know, knowledge is power, all that jazz."
"cool. well, i'll join you. i might as well since i'm working with the anomaly. i might as learn whatever i can, yeah?"
You don't see any reason why she can't, so you nod. "Yeah, yeah, follow me." You lead your coworkers over to your old, dingy MACINTOSH computer. It huffs and puffs a thick cloud of dust as it struggles to boot up. You've gotten used to it but god, you wish they'd offer you a new computer in a catalog or something.
You load up the ABNOWATCH website. You let the Man take the wheel here since, really, he's the one actually researching stuff on here. The forums might as well be incomprehensible if it wasn't for him helping you out.
You simply follow the Man's instructions. What subforums might have the info you're looking for, what keywords you should or shouldn't use when searching for information about 199X, basically anything and everything that helps with search engine optimization.
Normally, this would be enough to get something, anything! It's really easy to find what you're looking for when the Man is helping you.

All you got in return was a white screen with the following words written on it:
ERROR 404
The page cannot be found.
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
"Huh?" "huh?" Huh? That's odd. In all of his time searching through ABNOWATCH, the Man claims he's never seen this screen before. He tells you another set of keywords to try. You follow his instructions again to see if you can get anything.
ERROR 404
The page can't be found.
The page you are searching for might've been removed, had its name changed, or is unavailable at this time.
"wait, wait, hold on." Ashton narrows her eyes as she reads the error screen again.
