The Primarch gave a nod of understanding as he did his wonderous work upon the limb that was taken from the Dreadnaught. He did not hold in his movements, instead allowing the flow of ritual to clear his mind and give him clarity that would see him through a modest subject.
+Change is something that is ever coming and flowing. Few would claim the Mechanicum can change, but with the discoveries of the new age we have become stronger and much more knowledgable.+ TalOS said as his hands moved through the armored limb with the deafness of a venerable Priest, +In these times to stop changing is to invite stagnation. If we stagnate, we will suffer for it.+
+Then the Legion will keep changing.+ The Dreadnaught might have lacked the tack for this situation by saying those words. Did TalOS care for such tact, no he did not.
+You are correct.+ TalOS said as he began to inspect the work he had done, +We will keep the changes happening until my death, at which point I hope that you will be in a capable state that does not need me.+
+You… you expect your passing?+ The Dreadnaught sounded with a great amount of horror as those words passed through his vox caster, +How can you say such a thing.+
TalOS felt a small laugh well up form his chest as he heard those words, +Because I exist within the Universe. At one point, even before I met the Legion, I was almost assassinated by the Plastoids. Through the will of the Machine God I am still among you, for he is the one who saved me.+
As TalOS said those words he began to move his hands in an erratic manner. Memories of previous workings and practice were calculated within his mind. IT was subtle, too slow for it to be used on the battlefield, but upon TalOS’s movement the metal which had been destroyed by his axe began to buff out and mend.
+I learn from him the secrets of this Universe. Do well to follow me on that journey.+ TalOS said as he mounted the piece of wondrous craft into the shoulder joint of his son.
+I will do so as far as I am able, Father.+ Declared the Astartes as he began testing out the limb.
