“And we’ll make sure to give whoever it is a proper thank you,” you nod back.
“Exactly!” She nods. You hold out a fist which she bumps back. “We’ll find ‘em for sure!”
“Well, the history club is up two to zero on investigations,” you muse.
“And I’m not about to let us break our streak,” Erwin nods. You stay in the warehouse to chat a little longer to chat to the others that came back from ghost hunting. No one else has anything more useful to say than Erwin, and you get the impression that they mostly went out to have fun in the dark rather than do maintenance, but it’s decent training and Miho doesn’t mind, so you let them have it.
It’s then you notice a commotion in the empty part of the warehouse. It seems that Rabbit team and Saori took the opportunity to go out and acquire enough snacks and drinks for a small Halloween party for the club.
“A Halloween party, huh?” You say allowed, watching them work like professionals to get everything into place.
“Yep! We can’t go a Halloween without a party! Even if it has to be a small one!” Saori declares.
“I just wish you could’ve told me, so I could’ve got a costume,” you muse, a quick scan of the room reveals Saori is the only one in costume, and it’s just a witch hat. “Or signed off on it.”
“Hana approved it, and she’s the boss now,” Saori says. “Besides, it’s not like anyone is using this part of the warehouse.”
“As long as it’s cleaned up,” you reply.
Wednesday 1st November (Day 199)
>Stick to the land nav exercises since they’ve been going so well.The next morning, the exercises begin slightly later than usual as some maintenance from last night is rolled over. Your teammates have become better at the navigation exercises, to the point where it may not be worth doing them in the same terrain again without really spicing things up somehow.
“Hey Fritz?” Miho asks over the radio. “The match draw is this evening; will you be free to come?”
