The blast of hot energy hurts so much that it makes your hair go limp and you can't help crying out! Your hair drops Catscan and he jumps away from you!
Katie shouts "Get outta here!" at Catscan but then Catscan turns his head and glares at Katie!

What? Now Scurl is here? You look behind you and see Scurl standing in the road wearing <span class="mu-r">Katie's hat</span> with his arms crossed in front of him!

You turn sideways and take a few steps backward until you're next to Katie! You glance at Scurl and then glance at Catscan.
Catscan glances at you and then glances at Scurl.
