Your mind was divided into a few things: Your priority was dealing with cat dad's rescue, which began tediously for a number of reasons that were annoyingly out of your control. You couldn't forget about the aluminum, and all that that entailed. And this wasn't to mention how needy some of your wives were, though this was less of a job and more of a reprieve for your hard work. Then there was the squid's taxidermy. The latter, though not as important as the former things, ended up taking more time than you'd expected. But the end result was a trophy-like squid that proved to be an imposing piece.
You planned on putting it in the lobby, since you put so much effort into this trophy that you couldn't stand the thought of it just gathering dust somewhere. Also because the squid was literally too large to put anywhere else save for the storage rooms (and even then it'd use up too much space).
But you still had some freedom in where you'd be placing it.
>Stick it on the ceiling itself, making it seem more like an art piece.
>Have it dangle from the ceiling like some sort of model airplane on display.
>Put it inside a glass display case at the end of the main lobby for better ground-level viewing.

You entertained ambitions to retrofit an unused room, taking out the furniture from it and dedicating it to show off any other monster trophies you'd killed. You put a pin on the possibility, since now your thoughts dealt with ways to save Catty's dad.
Despite the many things you had to do, and how it all threatened to overwhelm you despite all the help your wives were willing to provide, you found inspiration from an unlikely source.
Ruby Rose was being diligent, an odd enough sight for the woman that loved to overcomplicate her way out of working. But it was a welcome sight nonetheless.
In fact, she was hard at work...
>Practicing some spells from the witch's book. With her [Mana Contingency], Ruby was able to make her spells be stronger and last longer.
>Practicing her fighting moves. As proud as Ruby was of her abilities, behind the intricate schemes she was still a novice with her newfound abilities. Ruby would do her best to make her techniques close the gap.
>Brewing some potions for you. Ruby said she could concoct potions that worked on skin contact, and you wondered if she could find potential to improve any potion she tried her hand at.
