>>5999430And I see the *heavies* have joined us. And just in time too. Going by Koras report, there's traces of Sunlancers roaming the landscape. Last thing anyone wants is to be caught out staring down that sort of weigh without heavy lancers of our own.
>>5999500Is there an echo around here or . . . Oh, no, that's just . . . The wind playing tricks.
>>5999427>>5999387>>5999312A sun-burnt, somewhat parched troop of Uthani auxillary catch up with us on the march - the Dispatch Courier must have convinced the 9th to send their skirmishers. Extra assistance is always appreciated.
Sadly, Legion High is too far away to ship us a fresh contingent of Pathfinders. We have the command Rebus, here to assist the efforts of the officers and ensure the proper facilitation of information. A job they do well. Unfortunately, they're stretched a little thin, running courier duties and dispatch operations to keep our little advance going at a proper pace.
The northeast front is quiet. It's always been quiet. All the real damage happens far south of here, around Mothwell, where the walls still stand and the Sparksouls still hold dominion. Though, the way the rumour has it, those walls will fall any day now.
Still, even if we won't have the proper crack of mechalogistics support, this little band of Vulpes are fierce shots.

>>5999500Quite rather a lot of them, as it turns out.
>>5999517>>5999509We advance at speed. Though as the new skirmisher arrivals struggle to beat up, and the outriders fall in along the path, friction and physics grinds down our momentum. We're not late, because we're not arriving for anything with a deadline, but we're not early, either, in the cosmic sense, of may have been or could yet be.
>[Column average speed achieved]But, we are, and this will likely prove to be a saving grace in the hours to come, *prepared*. Windchime Pass trickles moisture, slow, in the old and deep river bed. There are wells there. So we can be liberal with our own barrels and wagons, and so, some troops positively slooshing as they march, we rid ourselves gradually of heavy loads and this acceleration almost regains the bleed speed from geography and minor inconvenience.
>[Troops are Well Watered. . . And arriving in good order, neither fatigued nor exhausted!]
