>>5170367>>5170369>>5170373"Why are you holding my wrist, silly? My hand is right there!" She chastises you for not touching her hand to stand up, but you doubt her glove has enough grip strength to hold your body without sliding off or ripping in two.
"Call me Vlad. Just Vlad." You don't know how well your family is known outside the capital, so it's best not to give out your last name to strangers, even if they don't pose too much of a threat.
"Vlad... What an interesting name! I'll be sure to write that down! 'Bearded man named Vlad attempts to fly over the river without having any wings'." She takes out a quill and a few notes of paper from thin air and writes her memos.
"Why are you writing that down?" You ask the harlequin.
"I tend to forget things very often, I only have the king and his interests in mind, so other things escape me unless I read them again. Sometimes others write on my notes, but I try to erase them unless they belong to me. People are so nosy, Hahahaha!"
Cool, she seems to be a total airhead by the looks of it, too. Whatever information she can give probably won't be that reliable...
Gunpowder approaches the two of you and confusedly stares at the fidgety Zhafira.
'Woman crazy. Do not trust her.'
"Why are you making a voice for your horse? Oh! Are you interested in stage plays? I have a few puppets at home, I could show you how to control a marionette! Hahaha!" Zhafira laughs at you trying to give a voice to Gunpowder. Doing that out loud probably makes you look very goofy.
'Yes.'
Well, thanks for the vote of confidence, Gunpowder...
