“Then that just leaves me and the wolf.” Magnus declared as he decided now was his time to speak, “Father, am I to go towards the frontier along with my brother?”
The Emperor nodded his head as he heard the question. “We need to continue pushing in Segmentum Obscurus. Every planet we gain in that region is the more ground that we will be afforded in the future.”
“So we are hunting the Wyrd.” Leman Russ declared as he glanced towards his brother, “You can take the right and I the left?”
“There is no reason to take things so simply.” Magnus told his brother before he himself began to ponder. TalOS could feel the swelling of energy from his brother as he attempted some form of clairvoyance. TalOS did not like it, but he did not try to stop such a mundane use of psychic power.
As an answer went across his blackened eye Magnus was found declaring, “But sometimes the most simple things are the best. Do what you want brother, I will do what I want.”
“Sounds fine enough to me.” Leman Russ barked with a cheer.
“Good, then the decisions have been made. Those who do not have their Primarchs will continue their search at their leisure.” The Emperor told everyone as he looked from one half of the room to the other, “I will continue my search for your brothers as well. To do so I cannot continue to tie myself in singular campaigns until they are all found. Do we have any questions or requests to be made?”
To the words the Emperor asked, no response was given. So with a mighty declaration of his voice the Emperor spoke, “Then the First War Council is finished. You are all released.”
