The pull of morality and thought went through TalOS in an instant. Reasoning needed to be applied to this issue as with all issues that faced the Mechanicum. Thus the question becomes what TalOS would do with a lack of information.
As a Priest of the Mechanicum his duty was to resolve a lack of information.
In that single thought TalOS’s decision was already set. The question now became whether it was a sound idea to send the Proelitors in to clear the place and take their prisoners. The scan of the facility was rigged with any kind of dangerous explosives that could spell the end of his sons.
Much to the luck of TalOS he found none. So the order was given.
With a single thought an entire company of Proelitors were sent from the feet of Particep Semper. From above jump packed troops as well as Skystalkers came flying to secure the rooftops from any offensive.
When the Marines fought their game was brutality. Death and murder was their creation and they distributed it to any of those who TalOS pointed them towards.
It was this death and destruction that wrecked through the front doors of this State House. The Proelitors who were attuned with Machine Spirits quickly mapped out the entire facility and marked out where exactly the warriors of the Mechanicum were to donate their wroth upon.
Room after room were clear of people. Hostiles were quickly dealt with while those who did not possess a firearm were sent to the ground with broken limbs. They were going to become fuels for the furnaces. Much was the fate of all upon this planet if their ruler was not reasonable.
As they cleared through the rooms a series of gunshots were sounded that was not Volkite. In an instant three squads of Astartes were sent flying into the thicket of what was a growing gunfight between several sides.
As TalOS found, in the final moments this civilization broke down upon factions. Such a thing was reasonable as even if any of these factions were to unite against the Mechaincum there was no chance for them. Thus to fracture was really the best aim for them as many of those breaking away thought trying to contact the Mechanicum was their best method to avert annihilation.
They were right too. They were right in thinking this but were not strong enough to save themselves. When the Astartes arrived most of those fighting found that they were too dangerous to be kept standing.
