“DAMN YOU ALL!” Yelled the Vampire as she rose from her impact and stretched a hand towards the Kroxigor. Lucian watched as Bok shuttered with purple energies that were so violent that he could see the odd skeleton of the monster. Then he saw as the magic seemed to string back towards the Vampire.
Before he knew it he was running. Lucian slamming his shoulder into the Vampire as to disrupt the casting so that the Kroxigor would not lose its life. He went for a strike with his scythe and the Vampire simply went around the blade.
He was too slow.
Yet as the Vampire took her hands ready to dig her claws into Lucian’s face everyone’s balance was disrupted and then shattered. The very boat itself began to shutter and shatter in half as something massive came from the waters below.
There Lucian realized why one does not spill blood upon the open seas, for the Captain did not lie that Mann guarded his realm jealously against all. He was only the God of Manann because manking respected the God of the open seas.
A monster with three heads and so many limbs came up and slammed them into the foundation of the ship. Drawn here by the powerful magics and blood that was spilled into the sea, Mann had sent forth one of his terrors to get rid of the spawn of Order and Chaos.
This boat was damned. Finished. None were going to survive as the leviathan tried to take them to Mann’s realm underneath the seas.
Bleeding from the shoulder Lucian knew that beyond all goals was the Vampire, yet he had sworn other oaths. He did not know of what was happening to Adok and Tee-Nee-Tyny had just saved his life! One is clearly dying and the other was underneath the ship, he who Lucian had sworn an Oath to take to Albion!
Would Morr punish him to not take this moment to slay the Vampire? Would Lucian’s family not damn him for trying to kill the undead? But those were the matters of the Divine and the Damned, for what happened to those Lucian had fought alongside with?
Lucian looked over and saw that the Vampire was in no good shape. While she sported no injuries, the sheer chaos meant that Lucian might, might, get the strike upon her he needs.
