>>5225192“... a samurai?” you recognize immediately. “Wait, is she from the Land of Iron?”
The newcomer is fair-skinned, with dark brown hair and pink-tinged irises, and dresses in a manner fitting the samurai of the Land of Iron. Dark pinkish-red hakama tied off above shin guards, arm guards protecting her wrists, all very traditional – except the hair-tie, that’s pretty modern. She’s also the only passenger on the platform carrying a proper sword, not the tantō typically carried by shinobi (which you don’t see any of here either in fact).
“That’s right,” Hanabi-sensei confirms. “One Hana-stamp for Shiki-kun.”
Hanawhatnow?
“This is Kurogane Tsukabi, from the Land of Iron,” Hanabi-sensei continues without explaining further. “From today, she’ll be a member of Boruto-kun and Sarada-chan’s team. Tsubaki-kun, I’m Hyūga Hanabi and this is my Team 15.”
The samurai-girl bows politely. “Nice to meet you.”
“So... we’re babysitters,” Wasabi mutters.
“This is an official D-rank mission,” Hanabi-sensei reminds her. “One that comes straight down from the Hokage’s office. So please, try to take it seriously, okay? Not every mission is going to be glamorous.”
“Fine, fine,” Wasabi-kun relents. “All we have to do is show her to the Academy to meet Boruto-kun and Sarada-chan, right?”
...
“This seems like a problem,” Sumire-kun muses.
“Where the heck could they possibly have gone!?” Wasabi demands of the empty classroom.
“Strange,” Hanabi-sensei muses, rubbing her chin before realizing something. “Don’t tell me they’re planning to make an official appeal?”
>Then we’ll just have to show our guest around until you get my idiot cousins straightened out.>An official appeal... to do what, exactly? The teams can’t be shifted around this year, right?>Now that we have track them down that means our D-rank mission is like a what... D-plus?>Other?
