The Herald’s grasp carves out a chunk of Shroomy, However, it’s not so deep a wound that it cannot be immediately regenerated. It watches silently as the creature makes a swift exit, but cannot afford to blindly give chase. There are numerous enemies here to deal with, the closest of which is the lobster that killed its minion while it was fighting the mushroom.
This time, the beam is brief and silent. Charged particles are sent in the lobster’s direction, meant to form waves that sear its flesh directly through the shell.

With the expenditure of energy, there is no Kaiju that can resist its blows. It will run out of this power eventually, but there are plenty of sources around it that need to be managed.
Then comes the bear, with claws of ice. It attempts to slash the alien overlord, but is a fraction too slow. Its attention then splits between the various Kaiju like a hydra, and it attempts to pick a target.

After the bear’s near miss, most of The Herald’s attention is on it now. That’s a good sign for the others, who are more vulnerable to its strikes.
