As the Cherokee spread out they tried to prop up the literacy rate. Though the limited supplies of books from the small underground bunkers didn't compare to Vault-Tec's suites. They at least sufficed to teach basic math and English. Any knowledgeable trades men had immense respect within the borders of Cherokee Nation. Raiders were dealt with by law enforcers on horseback to reach the remote raider camps further off of roads. Several radiomen that had joined told that a vault was possibly located up North so the Cherokee did their best to possibly reach the location first to advance their knowledge and better their fledging democracy.
