“The Palace was filled with many kinds of undead, but does not appear to be heavily fortified.” One of the Dwarfen scouts said as he etched into the stone a large diagram of the place, “The difference is that I did not witness many of the lesser undead within the place. All were warriors of some calibre, each of them positioned in sentry.”
“What of our King!” The Ghost Warrior said as he raised his axe in the direction of the scout.
“My Ancestor, the First King is located sitting next to the throne.” The Scout said while pointing at a rather decent sized room within the place, “The Necromancer, from what we have seen, sits in the throne.”
All the ghost gave there was a deep rolling growl as anger fueled his hatred for the necromancer who had control over their first liege.
“Do we have ways of getting to them?” Lucian asked to get them all back on track.
“We witnessed a few ways. One of them is from the Vault, which has laid untouched by the undead from what we have seen. The runes that are upon it repel their kind, weakening their bindings enough that there is not a watch over them.” The Dwarf said as he pointed at one of the locations which was deep into the palace, “Another would be the Washrooms. A water cistern in what was the royal kitchen.”
“Or, we can fight them from the front!” Declared the Ghost with a laugh.
“We do have a place close to the front that can do that. One of the nearby buildings has an escape that we can use with a brief stint in the sewers.” the Scout said as he looked upon the map.
Looking over it Lucian could see… something. These were simply ways to breach the compound not locked in paths they all needed to take. They simply needed to plan out how it would go.
>False Flag attack against the Skaven
>Send the Ghosts to do a distraction from the front.
>Commit to a pincer attack, one at the front and one from the kitchens
>True sneaky, attack from the vaults
