oh and, i've also been reworking what i said at
>>5231173 as to make it a bit more concrete. together with the terms of the possible contract we would give the traders.
the agreement would basically be, that the merchants that we have following us currently, and any which would willingly choose to come along of their contacts, would together create a small(at this time) mining guild, which will at the start have been provided with at least a small contingent of escort ships and some cargo ships, at least 10 pirate frigates worth. this group of individuals in this small fleet will together make up a part of the vassaldom which, we will claim as said in 5193040 in thread 3 to have been a previously lost colony, or potentially ask as a request to keep by the countess. anyone working within this mining guild will be able to have 1/6 of the materials which they mine/produce be their personal payment, with the rest either going towards a smaller merchant's guild, which will oversee trade over the cheron orbital station, as to try and keep the prices acceptable and low enough that it is economically sound for other worlds around to trade with cheron, or to the water world as building material as to expand their as of currently resource starved cities, the merchant guild keeping check & track of the material goods being moved around as to have documentation of it all.
it would also be the job of this merchants guild, to keep the pay of the station's workers, and to keep track of, and sell goods needed as to pay the original traders homeworld for the industrial equipment needed to keep the station up and running.
i wanna make sure to say though, i know this is very much still in the future, and i know i might just have an idea which alot of anons don't agree with in doing this, which is why i am mentioning it, so i might hear what others think, and if i should just shelve this whole "swooping in and conquering the aztecs" kind of thing.
