"Well only one way out through this place" you mutter to yourself as you brush past one of the totems and make your way through. It's slow work as you wade through the water holding your spear out as you tap it left and right for any hidden debris. No sense in tripping onto a rusted spike. Looking at the walls through the dim light produced by the overhead bulbs you can notice a thick black "ooze" dripping from the seams of the tunnel.
"That's a bit odd, never seen that stuff before" you wondered as you carry on through the tunnel. Before long however the totems appear once more but you notice that they are all misshapen and in a state of deuteriation. The totems carrying the resembling as if they have been cudgeled to the ground with a thick acid poured on top of them. The light overhead flicker and spark only giving you glimpses of your surroundings. Pressing on you come to a halt as you notice what lies ahead of you in the center of the room. Woman, men, children all poured and piled together in the resemblance of a mass grave. Drawn around it is a thin circle of chalk on the stone floor. The sewage running along the lines of the chalk circle but never piercing it.
Before you can get a closer look however you hear the sound of a shrill screech reverberating through the tunnels, and followed by hurried footsteps the sewer floor. Looking behind you notice what could only have been a necromancers creation. Taking the form of a decaying male figure, it sprints across the the tunnel floor towards you, it's eyes filled with an inhuman hunger and anger for life, and it's mouth filled with razor sharp teeth.
