As the Tech Priest walked by several Servitors he gave a long sigh. The Machine God had passed the Magos up for what he thought might have been the final promotion. But his God was protecting its own interests, and to that the Magos would serve until his death.
His eyes laid upon the office that was his destination. Every step closer he could feel the crawling dread of judgment creep upon his metallic flesh.
When he heard of the Fabricator General’s incapacitation he had quickly pulled the strings of numerous old alliances. These were the same strings that he planned on using if ever the Old Saint was to somehow lose his life, and because they were built with ages of work they all went off without a hitch. Even the inclusion of outsiders who were seeking the throne were denied because ADM1N had set contingencies for that event around five centuries ago.
After all, Lucius was always looking for a chance to expand. He needed to be prepared to fight off rivals who would be created by that expansion.
Was it right for him to do that though? Was it right to become regent of a throne the way he had? There were deaths, and a few Priests who thought themselves capable of a military takeover were quickly put to the sword by the Secetarii. There were also a few Nobles and even a Knight who thought they could go for a power gain when all the positions began to shift.
He could not have that. In a time like this the use of violence against one another was the worst thing that could happen. Especially upon Lucius, where the worst of moves could nullify the entire planet.
Entering the Office of the Fabricator General ADM1N felt the source of the dread. He was forced to engage his emotional vaults just to look into the face of TalOS DAV1S, once his student and now Fabricator General of Lucius. Word was that he had done the greatest of augmentations, an augmentation of the soul. ADM1N had heard from his colleagues who served alongside Horus and Leman Russ that a Primarch should have a presence. ADM1N wondered what they meant by that.
Now he did. Once held back with technology his Fabricator was truly a monster of immense power.
His reports and deeds were given to his Lord, for he knew that he could not deny a man as brilliant as TalOS the truth. He awaited judgment.
>Approve ADM1N to become Fabricator Locum
>Give praises for the job done
>Discipline him for taking power in such ways.
