Charlie doesn’t seem weirded out by this, in fact, she stays in that position. “Cool. That is valuable.”

You take a step back at her worrying words. “Wha-?!”
But before you can question her, Sun shouts, “Shade! Over there!” He points ahead and you all follow his finger.
Over the distance, the pyramid-like academy can be faintly spotted, standing tall over the walls of Vacuo. Cheers explode in your group. Just a bit more and you’ll be safe, you’ll all be safe.
Your celebration gets interrupted by almost falling over due to the Slider’s sudden stop.
“What’s wrong?” Charlie emotionlessly asks the animal.
The Slider whines and gestures to the city with its head.
“It must want to avoid civilization,” Isaac says. “A lot of smarter animals do.”
“Wow… That must be why they are so rare, right?” Typhu excitedly gives her reasoning.
“Who knows,” you add without much thought. “We still need to make it to Vacuo. Let’s go, the last stretch.”
With that, your group begins the climb down the shell, carefully bringing both your injured. Coco appears quite upset at needing help. “First time?” Isaac doesn’t help.
In a matter of minutes, you are off the turtle and in the sand. You all walk up to the front of it and the Slider brings its neck down so you can talk to it face to face.
Its big round eyes look expectantly at you.
