This young man, who could wade through an army of the undead without flinching is frozen at what you said, looking actually worried. His care for you warms your heart even more than the bath did, you leaning up and kissing him again.
“Never.” you say with a smile, your husband smiling back as you're carried up to your bed. Once in your bedroom, with you in his arms, he floats down into the mess of blankets and pillows you affectionately refer to as your love nest, and the two of you settle in for the night. “I love you Chilli.”
“Love you Megumin.” he says, the two of you sharing another kiss before he begins turning down the ambient lighting of the crystals. “Sleep good.”
“You too.” you say, snuggled up to his side with your head resting on his right shoulder. And the last sight you see before falling asleep is his handsome face, eyes shut but still a smile on his face. But this happy mood wasn't destined to last. Some time later, long after you'd fallen asleep, you feel yourself being awoken by movement around you. Opening your eyes groggily, it takes your still kind of asleep brain a few moments to process what you're seeing. Chilli's head is shaking violently back and forth, your husband muttering something in his sleep. Looks like he's having another of his nightmares. “Chilli....”
Your husband had told you what had happened to him, in pretty graphic detail, a few days later after you'd woken him up from a violent nightmare. He'd been moving in his sleep, body thrashing as he'd relived that horrific trauma and couldn't escape. And it seems like tonight's another one of those nights, you getting clear and out of the bed as his hair begins changing from black to the iconic gold of his family's Super Saiyan power. You're no match for him physically on a normal day, even when he's just playing and being very gentle with you. But while he's unconscious, and a Super Saiyan on top of that? He could kill you, like he almost did that first night after what happened. He'd only broken your arm, and his sister was there immediately to fix it, but your then-fiance had been incredibly worried about what happened. So every night before bed, you had a glass of water nearby to throw at him. You scramble over the loose pillows over to it as your husband's golden glow intensifies, aura blazing up around him as sparks begin dancing along his body.
