“I am Rogal of the House of Dorn.” As their little subject ended it was Dorn who spoke out as he extended a hand towards his blue robed brother.
For Roboute TalOS noticed the man caught slightly off guard from the sudden introduction. Things were not going into his plan but the recovery was quick and natural, “I am Roboute Guilliman, Son of Konor Guilliman. I have read a series of reports about you and I am honored that we can meet today.”
With that the two men shook hands, their hands grasping one another instead of the wrists like how Guilliman previously shook TalOS’s hands. TalOS gave a small laugh to let his presence be known once again, “You did not need my help it seems brother.”
Such words were wrong of course, TalOS knew, for he was the one who started this conversation in the first place. But he felt like he wanted to joke with his brother and this was the easiest way to do it.
“I thank you for the effort.” Roboute answered back as he knew the truth of the matter. Everyone did actually, but jokes were jokes and anything TalOS could do to lighten the mood from his sheer presence was a positive.
“I have heard about both you and your Legion Guilliman.” Rogal said as he studied his brother’s build as those words were spoken, “The War Born were different from how you are now. Is that the reason you changed their names to Ultramarines?”
“They will not be just warriors anymore, but Sons of Ultramar. Changing their names was only natural.” Guilliman answered as he nodded towards TalOS, “Just as our brother TalOS changed his sons to the Proelitor; Titles will change with the new roles they are given.”
To those words Rogal thought to himself for a few seconds. When he found the answer he answered it straight, “Just as my sons were, I am the Fist of our Father. I appear to be in the minority and I expect it to stay that way now.”
“No shame in it.” TalOS told his brother as he moved to get closer to the other two, “It is simply that you were blessed by convenience.”
“If that is how you describe it, then it would be true.” Dorn answered simply.
