That in fact, was the purpose of the ship you sunk as it was bringing a contingent of soldiers and military engineers to help with defenses of the city ahead of anticipated attacks. Plenty of arms and armor to go with of course, although not much of that matters after what you did to the ship and crew. As for the two women, they're actually noble ladies en route to be carried farther away from the areas of conflict. They only accompanied the ship in order to try and appeal to other such noble women here in Olispo, to join along with them in what is believed to be a temporary retreat. Why they were in the condition you found them in on the wreck, well you can probably chalk that up to a state of shock after your attack on the ship and their witnessing the captain crawl his way to them before dying.
In any case, you find yourself intrigued by the messy little tangle of their lives that the humans have created in your absence, even in your inebriated state. You have the wisdom to know that it is valuable information, even the slightest details can better prepare you for these more modern times, after your slumber for thousands of years. And certainly this Sufyan fellow is more useful to talk with than Emil was, he makes for a good pet but this merchant is at least educated. Ah, but enough of that nonsense! You're feeling pretty cheery... and dead tired, after your own merriment this evening and your victorious attack earlier.
>Bwuh, time for sleep! You're feeling so comfy with a belly full of drink and cooked food, that you'd love to just lay down by the fire and doze off. The humans? Eh... they're free to go if they want, you're too content to care.
>No, no sleep! Not yet, not while you still had some remaining things you wanted to learn or ask of the humans? Or if you had any plans for them...
>Keeping with the uneasy current of cooperation, you're willing to let the humans go... but you want to accompany them. Get a better sense of the land dwellers from more than just kidnapped victims.
>Why sleep when you can go even further overboard? You don't expect these traumatized humans to join you, but that doesn't mean you can't have your own party! And who knows, maybe you'll find some fun things to do? A moonlight plundering perhaps...
