"Ey, don't look at me. This wasn't here when I was around."
"Still, you're the only one who can fly over here without trespassing. I don't feel like disabling their security measures. It would be like kicking down the door of a friend's house because no one answered it."
"I think I can call the old lady here, no way she doesn't recognize me." Puck effortlessly flies over the barrier, who doesn't push him back thanks to his affinity to the island's energy.
And so you wait for Puck to come back. A few minutes pass, as you wonder if he actually knew what he was doing, until a troop of mages in similar attire of Schierke's march forward to greet you, as well as a smaller dwarf mage mounted on an old goat.
"So you've been fighting demons while you were out all this time?" A few of the children accompanying the head mage ask Puck.
"Yeah, It's a chore. A fact of life, but some would call doing good a labor of love! Personally, I get mad love, but I detest the labor..."
"Speaking of labor, we have yet to water the pumpkin crops this week." The more mature of the magicians scratches her forehead.
"Oh, that's easy." With one simple motion of his staff, the guru made the clouds turn into rain, moistening the outside of the island like he was one with the raindrops.
"Such advanced magic! Not even Vlad can do that!" Schierke is shocked at his expertise.
"It usually takes a lot of planning and ritual summoning to influence nature like this, and he just manipulates the local climate like this..." Farnese thought she was already mastering the elementals, until she witnessed true mastery.
"Greetings, travelers. My name is Gedfriend, the one who governs all the mages in this land. Thankfully Puck came along to warn the girls here to hold their fire, things would have gotten pretty ugly otherwise."
"No need to thank me, guys!" The little elf gives you a thumbs up, to which you stealthily return.
"'A small whirlwind out from this island would draw in many fates, and return as a tempest...' Or so did the oracle say." Gedfriend disables the stone labyrinth and approaches Sivir.
"I apologize for coming to the island, Sage Chief. I know that even after the Sea God being defeated, I am still not allowed here, but this is an emergency to treat the Mandragoran Curse, and I believe it would not do much harm in letting my son and his friends visit for a short amount of time." Sivir motions over to Casca, who was asleep to withstand the aftereffects of her withdrawal.
"That is for Queen Danaan to evaluate, but either way. I am already informed of this ordeal. In fact, an old resident of the island came to me in a dream and said 'look after my dear little student when she visits.'"
Schierke's eyes brighten up when finding out that Flora is indeed well known here.
