The initial assault was disastrous, though given the heads up in advance the probing attack goes terribly due to the infantry platoon hiding deep within the town just enough for the first mechanized platoon to go through. Once on the other side of the bridge they opened fire routing and wounding a good many of your men forcing Charlie company to retreat. Thankfully for the other three companies they enemy infantry have revealed their positions allowing them to suppress and overwhelm them forcing a rout out of gross hagen. there are still no news of LT.Karl something may have gone wrong with their radio as they were able to transmit a partial message to you, you may re establish contact should you find them.
