>>5582936First days of fighting were the strangest - losses were heavy, but enemy inflicted casualties are only a part of the total losses.
- you lost 1 regiment due to the fact that they were deployed on top of a frozen lake, which orbital scanning servitors identified as a perfect LZ. Ice was just thick enough for most of the transporters to land, but their cooling engines emitted enough heat to weaken the ice and now nearly 12 000 guardsmen, their tanks and guns rest at the bottom of the lake
- 8 more regiments were deployed with incorrect instructions, sending them on wild goose chases in the ice wastes. Even during the Calm, this is not smart - most of the men ended up frostbitten and Hospitaller sisters will have a lot of work fitting prosthetics. Nonetheless, around quarter of them will never be bothered by cold again, resulting in 19 000 casualties + officers who were executed for the fatal mistake.
- Anti-Orbital defences shot down a few landing ships, causing around 25 000 casualties
- Subcity storming so far hasn't progressed much, but has caused some casualties - around 11 000 troops in Dorog and 7000 in Ardea
Total losses: 74 000 guardsmen (roughly 7.5 regiments)

I have to end here tonight, but feel free to consider/discuss the further strategy. Serrakis seems to be well on its way to be pacified - it is a good question of how/when you will dig through to the depths of the subcity levels, but you can choose to either leave some guard here to continue storming the cities or remain and help them.
Planetary countryside is also still not under your control, but there are no major population centres there.
