You took a moment to think hard on this one. On one hand, this Kaguya, her beauty was so unreal, you felt as though she was throwing you into a state of hypnosis! But, she was just so... spoiled. Definitely a really stuck up, pompous type. True, deep down, you had to admit she was by far the prettiest girl you've ever seen, but at the same time, you didn't want to disparage Mokou for any reason. You could appreciate the tomboyish charm she had to herself.
You thought about staying neutral, and giving no straight answer, but you weren't sure how well that would appeal to either lady. As much as Mokou didn't seem to care about your answer, since she was so rustled by Kaguya's teasing, the look she was giving you vaguely hinted at not wanting to be... put down in any regard. And really? After all those powerful booms you heard that apparently came from these two girls fighting, and the fact that now both of them standing before you had no visible wounds or damage at all? You didn't want to leave them hanging. Although you find that Kaguya, as bratty as she is, is the least likely to kick your ass over it.
So you answered dishonestly, not to feed into Kaguya's ego, and not to insult Mokou. However, a lie is still a lie, no way to sugarcoat that.

<span class="mu-i">"...!"</span>
Instant shock fell over them both. The Earth Rabbits stopped pounding mochi for a split second, and you heard one of them gasp. Of course, Tewi, was among them, just staring with an amused grin at the scene.
Mokou's red face looked away towards the wall, as if she was wondering why you'd go and do that, say something so obviously untrue. Even if she did save your life, even she found it farfetched you'd tell a lie like that, just for her. Kaguya herself was speechless, as if it were the first time she'd ever been rejected in any capacity by a man. However, the princess' face soon gained a sly smile as she hid it behind the flap of her sleeve.
<span class="mu-i">"Huhuhu~... I see. Well, I suppose everyone is entitled to their own opinion."</span>
...<span class="mu-i">Even</span> if said opinion is wrong, you finished her sentence in your head.
<span class="mu-i">"Well now, I do have my answer. I will let it go for now and press the issue no longer... after all, I'm sure you'd enjoy some time alone... with the one you admire."</span> Kaguya says, turning away to exit while snickering!
"H-Hey! That's not what I mean ei-...ohhh..." You stop. She was already gone.
