But if they entered into someone who has had their mind completely shattered? Might be that that would work. At least for a while. And we know of two people in this place which would fit that condition, might be that these people are the Longbottem's themselves. That they disappeared because Rowena and Godric took over. That they are using the two but their bodies aren't going be able to last if they stay with them, which is where that comment came from.
The man just used wandless magic. According to the wiki, it takes someone of incredible skill to pull that off. Godric would fit that bill I think.
>Alice was a round-faced woman with short hair, and her son Neville resembled her quite strongly. By the mid-1990s, however, her face became thin and worn, and her hair had become white, wispy and dead-looking,[3] which was most likely due to her insanity from the Cruciatus Curse along with older age. This is straight from the wiki. Sounds a lot like:
>The woman. Her face is thin and worn now, her eyes seem overlarge and her hair, white, is wispy and dead-looking. She’s dressed… she’s dressed like a patient.A few possible options. She is the real Alice Longbottom. Either with a mind ghost piloting her or is under a curse like Imperio but more powerful, letting someone use her body. That this is someone impersonating her with Polyjuice, the reason she "disappeared" was so they could pull a Crouch and keep Neville's parents in a suitcase to use their hair.
