You could make the argument for Nika, but she's still not quite old enough to be battling just yet, so you swap Rusty and Volta out before letting Gareth take his turn while Holly squirms in embarrassment as she releases her Feebas, Beauty, her Whiscash, Whiskers, and the Gardevoir whom elected to help her with her Psychic powers on South Crescent Island, Clytie.
When he's done, Gareth releases his Cutiefly, Rowlet and Feebas, giving Holly a faintly amused smile at her embarrassment.
"Okay..." Daniel says, taken aback. "This is new. How is it a Gardevoir is the pokemon you've trained the least?" He asks Holly.
She explains briefly, looking frankly embarrassed at the attention and the mismatch between her pokemon and yours.
"Ah, well that explains it." Daniel says when she's done, nodding. "No need to be so embarrassed, it's not like you're going to be battling your friends." He adds. "I'm going to have my work cut out for me, though." He adds wryly. "As for what you will be doing... doing some training with your pokemon. Pick two moves for each of them and we'll go from there." He adds before turning to you. "Before that though - your Applin. They don't really learn much. That only happens when they evolve. So, which sort of apple do you want to give it?"
