>>5810419“You want to spend some time with the kids this morning?” you ask her, Meloka raising a brow as you hold her, standing up then setting her down as you turn towards your gear you'd discarded last night. “I'm going to go for my morning spar with Freeza, then work out with Chaya and keep her going, then we can all meet up during lunch.”
“I think that's a good idea.” she replies, going over to where she'd dropped her own clothes, pulling her pants on. “I do want to spend more time with our children, didn't get to have much time yesterday.”
The two of you get dressed, Meloka pulling her 'gi' on over her head, tying the belt around her waist and cinching it tight. The new uniform isn't anything dramatic, not overly flashy or embellished, but seems to work quite well. She then flies over to you, rising to you level and placing her hands on your cheeks, leaning in for another kiss. You hold her for several seconds, both pulling away as she then lets go, raising her right hand to her forehead.
“See you for breakfast.” she says, disappearing. You then stretch, missing your armor where you'd destroyed it transforming into Berserker God yesterday before telepathically reaching out to the former emperor. He flies out to meet you at your usual sparring area, the both of you powering up to one hundred percent and staring each other down.
“Your mood seems to have improved considerably.” he says, then lunges forward. You dash in as well, slamming forearms together. “But let's see how you handle THIS! SHYAAA!!”
You and the emperor battle each other for over an hour, neither of you backing down from any challenge thrown at you from the other. Both of you give your best, pushing each other further and further until he backs off. As one you both back off, powering back into your normal forms and fly off towards your home together. Once inside your ship he splits off from you, heading towards the showers while you go to the chamber, opening the door. Only, for your daughter not to be here.
“Huh, that's unusual.” you mutter, walking over to the controls while expanding your ki sense range. Only, Chaya's nowhere to be found. She's not on New Salda. So, you reach out telepathically, searching for her. “Hey Chaya, kiddo. You coming to work out this morning?”
“Huh? Oh, sorry Dad, but I'm... Not gonna make it today. Something came up.” she replies, her thoughts scattered. You can sense something almost like despair coming from her mind, as if she's fighting something she can't win but isn't giving up. “Just go on without me, I've got work to do.”
And, before you can say anything else, she ends the mental link. Which is... Concerning.
