After getting to the front table, the standard isekai-issued comically busty receptionist greeted you all. "Hello! You're all new faces here, except for you," She points to Ayane. "I remember you! You're Ah-yi, right?"
"Greetings to you as well, Janette. I am Ayane, Ai is my sister." Your fox wife said calmly. The only indication she was at least mildly annoyed was a small flick of her ear.
"Gods, I'm so sorry!" She apologized to your fox wife and scratched her head sheepishly. But then switched her attention to you. "You must be the Master. Can I see your invitation?" You show it to her.
Speaking to the big titty receptionist, whom Ayane seemed to know in passing, you decide to get registered. There was little reason not to. She told you that if you got caught scamming others or dealt with corrupting magic you'd be liable for expulsion.
You asked if you needed to register your wives too. She explained how since they were your property they'd automatically be members of be Merchant's Guild so long as you were (unless you forbade them from being so for whatever reason).
The rest of the day was spent meeting people and building connections. Most of these were smaller merchants and small time business owners or employees of corporations. Though you were also able to find some mercenary groups that offered their services in exchange for gold.

Later some important looking Westphalian merchants arrived. Unfortunately they didn't seem to be associated with the ships that came by earlier, though they did hear that they'd been selling surplus weapons of some kind, and some loose lipped ones loudly shared rumors of expensive ancient artifacts their countrymen dug up in the colonies, now being held in the capital. Ruby seemed to doubt their claims.
You were very grateful the Westphalian merchants were more concerned with one-upping the Eastian merchants, and vice-versa, to notice you or your wives slipping out of the room.
You and your wives just kept all your ears open, only returning to the airship when it was getting late.
That night, some of your wives came to you with a request: That you help them finish the legal paperwork in order for them to "officially" be your wives.
They said it wasn't really necessary to do right away since it was mostly a formality, and didn't have much legal meaning. But it'd still be a nice gesture for the slaves that worried about this sort of thing.
>You didn't see why not. You'd like to get this done for all of them.
>Those that wanted it could approach you for help.
>It wasn't needed. They were cast out, and you were a Savant that accepted them, so by law they were yours.
