Okay, so this is more of an opinion poll since QM mentioned it but it'd be swell to see how you guys feel about it. Some of these are more like big huge pipe dreams and might not even happen in this quest at all, but if we were so lucky or given choice to try and pursue.
-So until we meet Big E, we won't know for sure if the Sight is from him. But in general most Primarchs are aware they have warp based powers of a sort, beyond their flesh and bone. Corax knew that he could hide in front of humans in plain daylight even while standing in front of them, but it didn't work on Cameras and Sensorium. Could this be our power, and should we use it more or less?
-Other ways we could become less reliant on The Sight is by achieving blessed apotheosis with a machine spirit, as techpriest Uther Tiberius did, which is the ultimate goal of any techpriest to blend man and machine. If we could achieve that with a very powerful STC Machine Spirit. For example, the Spirit of Eternity has a complete STC library, but became furious and rejected mankind after its pilot (whom it called "bondmate", so perhaps its already bonded to a person) was killed for trying to warn mankind about Chaos and deemed a heretic. But we could be in a time before that happens, and might even try to convince it and its pilot to stay. Its sister ship, the Blade of Infinity, seems more benevolent as it pops in and out from time to time to warn mankind about big Chaos incursions. Perhaps its pilot is still alive, or perhaps it doesn't share the same opinion.
Frankly since both these ships are lost in the Warp and we are having trouble relocating the Ark Lucius, I doubt we could find them easily. It might have been millennia of search before Cawl could. Maybe Magnus or the Pharos could help track them down, if we can discover their existence from ancient federation records on Terra perhaps? Honestly if Guilliman could recover the McCragges Honour, I think finding Ark Mechanicus Lucius or another type of ship from the Warp is doable.
-On Forge World Chaeronia is hidden a Castigator Titan, also housing an STC, and is considered the "Father of All Titans" and is very advanced, appearing as a lithe humanoid whose head is actually over its shoulders rather than the clunky toy like shape of modern Imperators that are only attempts to replicate it. The planet was lost to the warp after the HH, by the time the Grey Knights were a thing, for 100 years realtime but 1000 years in Warp Time. Lost in the warp, it fell to Chaos. If we can find Chaeronia and its Titan, we could move it to somewhere safer like Mars. Maybe teach it to reject the Warp like we did.
-There are some small Necron Worlds who are vulnerable enough to mankind, as show by Silva Tenebris, a minor Dynasty able to be conquered by an Ark Mechanicus fleet lead by a human techpriest. The entire tomb was able to be conquered and opened up for study (or exterminated if you chose in the Mechanicus Game)
