“Of course.” the Overlord of Nazarick replies, nodding shallowly. “You have a newborn to care for, on top of your wife and daughter. Take your time. Once my people have made contact, I'll be sure to inform you.”
-Meanwhile, in Mechikabura's Realm-
“I must say, advising Karn to access his other self's power was a brilliant move.” Mechikabura says, addressing the purple part-demon sitting in the chair before more than two dozen screens, each showing a different warrior. In one it shows Karn tapping into that power beyond against Freeza, another showing Karn's son Chilli speaking with a robed skeleton while the others show beings from different timelines. But the one Mechikabura is focused on is Karn, staring intently. “But how did you come to think of this, Fu? Had you seen it before?”
“It was just a hunch. I thought that, should he be able to use either power, why not both?” the young-seeming demon replies, glasses shining in the screens' reflection. “If he can control the power of BOTH Berserker Souls at once, he'll be even stronger than he was in the previous reality. After all, he only had the one then. But now, with two, who knows how powerful he'll get?”
“Hrmmmm....” Mechikabura says non-commitally. But as he watches Karn start laying into Golden Freeza, his power far greater than ever, greater than even when he battled the powers of Instinct and Ego with your help in the Demon Seal, the old Demon God seems troubled. And a single thought keeps running through his mind: why does this seem so.... Familiar? As if, despite having no memories of this, he'd done this all before?
