“It was simple, really. Meloka, the Saiyan woman down there identified not only Botamo's technique, but its weakness.”
“And what would that be?” Elder Kai asks, giving you a plotting grin. You know he wants to be smug in front of his Sixth counterpart, and give him what he wants.
“Botamo's technique sends an attack's power into another dimension upon impact.” you say, seeing Shin's confusion as you talk. Which only boosts you to show off a bit more. “Not the attacks themselves, but the physical impact they would have. While Meloka probably didn't realize that, she did see that her attacks weren't working. So, instead of wasting her energy trying to overpower the technique, which would be complete foolishness, she switched her strategy. Her attacks couldn't hurt Botamo, but with her kick earlier she knew she could touch him. So, from there it was only a few steps of dragging him to the edge and throwing him off, winning within the rules.”
“I see. You're a rather astute one, yes.” Fuwa says, the way he looks at you now slightly different. He no longer holds you in the same contempt he looks at Shin with, leaving you gloating a bit internally. But then, Elder Kai speaks up.
“So, have you figured out how he does it yet?” he asks you, looking even more smug. To which you nod, now knowing how it works and seeing it, you're sure you can replicate it perfectly.
“I believe that I will be able to perform it. Now that I know it works, and isn't purely theoretical, and having seen it firsthand, I should be able to do so as well.”
“You would stoop to using ningen techniques?” Fuwa asks, surprised as the Freeza-type introduces himself. But you've already seen enough, he's a snake. Hiding his true person beneath this fake exterior. And if Meloka doesn't fall for it, he's through.
“Mortals are many things. But creative is most certainly one of them.” you reply to Fuwa. “Were it not for mortal ingenuity, I would not be here today. Nor would I be anywhere close to as powerful. But, I reckon you'll see what I mean soon enough.”
“What do you mean?” Fuwa asks you, sounding genuinely concerned as Frost begins shouting, his power spiking as he starts to transform. But once he's done, his power still doesn't compare to the Saiyan's. And, even worse this form is hideous. With that elongated, bulbous head, the wide shoulders and squat appearance, this form seems quite impractical. As Meloka quickly proves, nearly ringing him out. Frost barely manages to drag himself back onto the stage, Meloka simply standing there watching as she glares, crossing her arms.
