>>5321588I imagine its that our sector, the Lucius sector, is currently wracked by huge wars and occupied by large xenos empires that threaten our existence that for now Rogue Traders aren't yet relevant for the Federation. Likely our Explorators themselves are shifting their efforts to the war too.
Once we conquer the Sector, and instead of giant alien empires but open expanse are around us, rogue traders may be come more relevant as a means to expand outward into the rest of the Segmentum. Conquest first, expansion later.
That will be a cool time. We used to be something like an Explorator in the early days too no? Maybe in between the big huge wars, we might take a hand in discovery and exploration once again.
