In the third month, you'd managed to develop a way to keep yourself grounded despite the force of the gales that threatened to batter you around - by projecting a slight but constant amount of ki upwards, you'd force your feet into the ground and provide stability. It made it harder to move normally, but in an environment like this it was a marked improvement; in a more normal location, it'd be a good way to stop yourself from being uprooted in a fight, you suppose. Throughout the fourth month, you actually managed to jump into sparring with Harum and Barbar, learning how to move effectively in these conditions and even how to take advantage of the unpredictable winds to make it harder to both hit you and defend against your blows. Your companions fared similarly, of course, so nobody was clearly above the others quite yet.
You had finished off the massive octopus by the end of the second month, of course, so you did have to spend some time fishing from the surrounding seas to replenish your foodstocks every now and then between training. A lot of the sealife in this area seemed remarkably dangerous by your standards - eels that could somehow shock you if you touched them, some weird blobby creatures that made pain radiate throughout your body when you touched their tendrils but otherwise seemed fine once you boiled them, and one particularly bold shark that broke his teeth on your body. They each provided some unique flavors and textures, of course, but you wish you'd been able to bring the cooking supplies you left in the truck canopy - sadly, they were just too bulky to effectively take with you.
You'd found another cave with drawings similar to the one before it near your training grounds, and every night you had taken shelter in it. Azalea actually had actually grown a small but cozy looking fairy ring within it using some spores she'd apparently had tucked away, and had spent the past four months working on something within it. Whatever it was, she was surprisingly tight-lipped
