You plan on handling this up close and personal to maximise your DPS. Distant-Cloud weaves through attack after attack, skillfully kiting around with enhanced swiftness. If you keep up this rhythm, the boss will surely fall without much trouble. However, even after a few minutes, barely 10% of its health has been chipped away. More aggressive plays will be needed to end this faster. Perhaps it might even be wise to tank some of the non-lethal attacks to raise your damage potential.

While waiting for [Final Advance]’s cooldown to reset, you continuously refresh your buffs and hold nothing back slinging ability after ability at the foe before you.

The boss, after unleashing a pained roar, suddenly begins to metamorphosize. The yin qi surrounding it thickens into a boiling black mist, so palpable in its viciousness that you swear you can feel it from behind the monitor. The boss’s claws grow to twice their length. Its silvery hair lengthens, becoming dishevelled, giving it a most feral appearance. The fight will only get harder from here on out. To make things worse, you hear some not so welcome news during this animation.
“Did you see that?” Autumn-Moon asks, the entrance to the Crystalline Realm just beyond the waters. “It’s them.”
“Yeah.” Skyfrost answers. “Uh, Distant-Cloud, might wanna hurry. A group is definitely coming, now.”
“I’ll make this quick.” You say calmly.
