”Vanguard Element Gonchaya, what in the hell is happening up there? Situation report, immediately!”
“Battalion, there is a GCA armored force that has ambushed us in force, estimated size, two companies, armor and infantry and supporting elements. We were told there were no heretics in this region!”
“A retreat was confirmed, but they’ve come back, is that it? You shouldn’t have let your guard down, Gonchaya.”
“They were-“
“I’m sending reinforcements and requesting more from the regiment’s night movements. They’re very close- continue engaging the enemy. Borzaya Group will be there in moments.”
“Yes, Battalion.”
“Don’t embarrass us. General-Leytanent Molchalin from the Federation is with Regimental Command. Show him the army that defeated Ellowie, that still holds their old capital, that will crush the degenerate Heretic Vynmark.”

“Battalion,” the Countess deigned to announce on the radio, herself, “The fliers under my household’s employ have discovered more of the blackcoats making their way towards you. They are eager to give battle- and so too are we. Let them come.”
This announcement was relayed to Yule- who had made his way over near Lieutenant Unterbrust- he immediately demanded access to the battalion network, and levelly asked, “Lady Countess. You’ve received reports of more enemies? Where, how many, how close?”
“I am told that they are of T-15 type, moving southwards, off road. Their numbers were uncertain, since they were utilizing covered roads, but surely nothing we cannot overcome, considering the present element of surprise. We’ve the upper hand early, do we not?”
Major Yule swore, and wiped his head. “Lady Countess, I need exact coordinates as to where those are moving south from. It sounds like more of them are going to be here than we initially accounted for.”
“We accounted for dispersed vanguard elements from two battalions,” Haile sniffed disdainfully, “They cannot have consolidated in the face of this attack so quickly-“
“Depending on where those T-15s are, your battalion headquarters in Grabak may be in danger, my lady,” Yule said, “They’ve never formed a van on their own. Their position indicates where their supporting maneuver elements may be, around us. Contact our flank pickets. In the meantime, platoon commanders, keep your eyes peeled. We might already have company we didn’t expect. And beware. Their fast troops like to haul bigger guns behind them if they can help it.”
“…The…the Headquarters?” the Countess echoed faintly
“If they are not watched for, yes,” Yule said, “Now…”
>Enemy reinforcements will be coming from the flanks within three or fewer turns, according to this post's die roll for left, then right- you cannot be certain where, but they will not come in ready to immediately open fire.
>Friendly Reserves will be deployed next turn.
>Next turn is now open.
