>>5366929>>5366917>>5366880>Don't let the combat be sullied, set the man aside for Faysal to do the same, and fight one on one as it should be.>64It's rather pathetic for the humans to challenge you on their terms, and then to change them whenever it suits them. Though honestly, it was never a fair fight to begin with, when it's wretched little things like them up against one such as you. You don't think you should hold it against them, when it is their nature to be pathetic, just as it is your nature to prowl the seas and destroy.
<span class="mu-b">"Is this how you wish to be remembered, Emir? Shall history remember how you challenged Tanaloa to fair combat, only to take my servant hostage- to cheat me of my rightful victory?"</span>
Feeling as though you have a reputation of sorts to uphold, after your recent successful dealings with the humans, you seek to defeat the humans on their own terms. Let no one doubt your honor, as much as your power.
And so you free the armored warrior from your mouth and toss him aside, groaning in pain as he crawls away. Your actions produce results, but it is your words that have a greater effect on Faysal.
<span class="mu-s">"Hold your tongue there, now! None here are worse hostage takers than you!"</span>
<span class="mu-b">"I let my hostages go with no harm done to them. Would you admit that I am the more honorable between us?"</span>
<span class="mu-s">"The hostages of your taking were noble Almhorad ladies, this infidel is deserving of death!"</span>
<span class="mu-b">"Oh..."</span> you were so pleased with yourself by your logic, thinking to catch the Emir in his own verbal trap. He instantly has his retort, so much that it seems he could say it without thinking. Such conviction catches you off guard, as the smile drops from your face.
Either way though, after letting his comrade go he kicks Emil to the sand, and resolves to face you. Even without his horse, even without a fully equipped array of weapons or armor, he still faces you down. Of course he is nervous, you can tell it from him, but he is brave enough not to falter before you. A modicum of respect from you there, even his calm and experienced warrior friend broke when you started chomping down on him.
<span class="mu-s">"May the Almighty direct my sword then, and smite thee monster! For the good of the land and its people!"</span>
<span class="mu-b">"The land? Ha! Well here is the sea to meet you!"</span>
At odds you stand on the beach, swept with wind and water. The daring man with his flaming sword at the ready, against the hulking sea monster. Certainly a tale for the ages... although embellishment may be needed. As you give a roar and charge across the sands right for Faysal. To his credit he doesn't falter, but there isn't much he can do as you bear down on him. He makes some attacks, slashes at you to actually cause some wounds with burning effect. The fellow even dodges an attack or two of yours, and you suspect if he were more prepared and in his element, or even mounted he would have put up a decent fight.
